Monday is a personal AI journaling and self-reflection app. It builds a private, evolving model of you from what you choose to share, and reflects it back as insights. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, how it’s used, and the control you have. We collect only what the features you use require, and we never sell your data.
All collected data is used for one purpose: to operate Monday’s features for you — building your personal behavioral model, generating insights, reminders, and reflections shown only to you within the app. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
If you connect Android Health Connect, Monday reads sleep, steps, active minutes, and resting heart rate (read-only) to surface physical-wellbeing insights and correlations. We do not write to Health Connect. Monday’s access to and use of Health Connect data complies with the Health Connect permissions policy; this data is used only for the in-app features you see, is never used for advertising, and is never sold or transferred to third parties. You can disconnect anytime in Profile → Privacy → Connected Services, which deletes our copy.
If you grant Usage Access, Monday reads per-app foreground time and launch counts from your device’s OS to show attention insights. Sensitive-category apps (e.g. health, dating) are excluded from anything shown. Disconnect anytime in Profile → Privacy; this deletes our copy.
If you connect your Google account, Monday reads email metadata only — the sender, subject line, and date of messages in your Updates, Promotions, and Social categories. Monday does not read the body or content of your emails and does not access attachments.
This metadata is used solely to show you insights about your own habits (spending, subscriptions, travel, job search, interests) inside the app. We store only derived insights (counts and aggregates) — never raw email.
Monday’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
You can disconnect Gmail anytime in Profile → Privacy → Connected Services, which deletes the stored data.
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We use a small set of service providers strictly to operate the app, under their data-protection terms:
We may disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users.
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your data anytime in Profile → Privacy → Clear my data, or by emailing support@x-innovate.in — we will delete your account and associated data. Disconnecting any integration (Gmail, Health, screen-time) deletes the data from that source.
Data is stored in per-user databases with access controls; sensitive tokens are encrypted at rest; backups are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply reasonable safeguards.
Monday is not intended for users under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
